The first evidence of cloth being made was as early as 7000-8000 B.C. Primitive weavers
used what nature provided for a loom - sticks, tree limbs, rocks. Animal and plant fibers
were used for weaving blankets and fabrics. Although my loom is more sophisticated than
primitive mans', it still accomplishes the same thing-the interlacing of 2 sets of threads.
The fundamental aspects of weaving have remained unchanged throughout history.
There is great comfort and humility in being part of this time-honored process.
